Once in a while, a friend gives you a surprise treat - and this week I got two from the same darling! Allie of Earthly Epicurean found these goodies and (luckily) I ended up with the gifts!

The first is something to feast my mind on - The Encyclopedia of the Exquisite: An Anecdotal History of Elegant Delights. A delicious book that can be displayed or poured over, Sarah Jessica Parker described it as, “A delightful ode to everyday elegance.” The book is a lifestyle guide of everything from elegant to commonplace to rare. Basically, how we can find the glorious in everything in life!

The second present was something for my belly - a Sprinkles Cupcakes Spice Cupcake Mix. Sprinkles, which calls itself the “world’s first cupcake bakery,” makes gourmet bites from scratch-based ingredients. Simple and satisfying.

So… the next night I’m home, I’m going to pop these cupcakes in the oven, pull out the book, and spend an indulgent evening thanks to Miss Allie!!
