When we were out in Colorado, my aunt, mom, and I tried a different wine every evening. Always red and usually a cabernet. One of my favorites that we tried was the girls in the vineyard, a 2007 cabernet sauvignon from California.
The wine itself is a rich, deep red, with cherry and cassis aromas. A medium-bodied wine with a silky texture, it tastes of the cassis, cocoa, and some earth.
One of the best things about the girls is the idea behind the company. The wine comes from Art + Farm Wine in Napa, which sends proceeds from the bottles directly to charities. Just LOOK at the number of organizations that have benefitted!! What a great idea!
